2019 looks set to be a year of innovations. A carefully crafted range of furniture designed by Marit Stigsdotter and Staffan Lind. Highly flexible furniture that can be combined in a wealth of different ways, and that has been designed with health and social care environments in particular in mind.

Having obtained a degree in furniture-making from the Capellagården School of Craft and Design, Marit now runs her own design business. She also teaches design and furniture-making on Capellagården’s main degree programme, in addition to her work as a guest lecturer and writer. Staffan is a graphic designer and works with two-dimensional design and communication, alongside product design. Marit and Staffan have worked together on a number of design projects. As well as furniture for indoor use, they have designed lighting and outdoor furniture.

The chairs in the Anyday range have a comfy seat and a wide back for optimum support.

The long armrests of the Anyday armchair provide support when sitting down and getting up from the chair. The Anyday suspendable

armchair combines arm support with suspendability, which facilitates cleaning.

All Anyday products are stackable and the armchair can also be fitted with wheels and handles so it can be pushed up to the table more easily.

All chairs have removable, washable coverings.

Our comfortable, versatile Anyday chairs are perfect for meeting rooms, churches, community centres and other similar spaces. They come with a padded seat or webbing and all variants are linkable.

All Anyday chairs can be linked interchangeably with each other whatever their design, and all can of course be stacked.

The Anyday armchair is lightweight, space saving and easy to move around - just like an ordinary armchair, but yet almost as comfortable as an ordinary upholstered easy chair. It can be used as a conference chair or visitors chair, in wards or day rooms.

With living environments becoming ever more compact, stackability is a bonus. Since the requirement for seating and functions varies, the ability to increase flexibility and free up floor space by stacking the armchairs is useful.

Anyday rocking chair. Movement stimulates the brain and almost everyone enjoys the feeling that rocking in a rocking chair creates. And that includes people of all ages, both young and old. People with dementia in particular are thought to benefit from and enjoy the feeling of rocking in a rocking chair. The benefits of rocking chairs in care environments have been known for some time.

Both our armchairs and our rocking chairs have removable, washable seat coverings.

Top comes in solid birch or laminated MDF. Alex can also be supplied with a Quietboard top. The legs have stable wooden threads and can easily be assembled by hand without the need for tools, screws or fittings.

The ability to combine materials and colours makes Alex suitable for a wide variety of environments.

Hajd room divider allows work and living spaces to be used for a wide variety of purposes. The flexible room dividers make it easy to divide up and screen off spaces, functions and activities on a temporary basis.

The screens have slatted or fabric filling. The light and airy slats provide visual screening whilst still enabling close contact with the surrounding area. Fabric fillings can be used to give the space a cosy feel. This version of Hajd also enhances the acoustic environment.

Hajd comes in one or three sections in natural birch and in a wide variety of different fabrics

Alice pouffe stools are the natural complement to Alice easy chairs and sofas. They provide additional seating that encourages conversation and breaks. They are flexible and easy to move around and can also be used as footstools.

These pouffe stools combine the best of pouffes and stools: the inviting softness of the pouffe and the legs of the stool, which lift it from the floor, help keep it clean and make cleaning quick and easy. And, of course, they have removable, washable coverings.

The Fyran stool offers an easy way of providing additional seating on a temporary basis, if a resident is being visited by several people, for example. It is primarily intended to be used by staff or visitors.

Up to four Fyran stools can be stacked together. This is very practical if there is more than one stool in the room. And it also allows you to keep a few spare stools in a "stool-pool", easy at hand.

Fyran comes in a range of bright colours, in natural birch and also with a fixed seat pad.Fyran.png

The Red&Blue edition is our Alice armchair in colours
that have been chosen with our dementia users in mind. Clarity in their surroundings can help make these users feel more secure, and colour and design can help with this. The primary colours red and blue are the colours that most people can perceive and describe for the longest. Giving the seat and back different colours can also help to make their function easier to understand.
Yellow can be used as a highlighter colour on an individual cushion, for example. The Red&Blue edition will be a colourful feature that can be enjoyed by all.

Sides. Alice armchairs and sofas are appreciated for their light and airy appearance, but sometimes you want a cosier feel. Alice padded sides are installed by hand and can be installed at a later date on all models. No screws, fittings or holes are required. The coverings are removable and washable. Neck cushion with side support. The Alice neck support can easily be adjusted in height and is now also available in an "earmuff" variant to support the head from the sides. Can be installed on all models.

  • Rounded corners and the soft contours of their tops give our Alex tables character.

  • The rounded square-shaped seats of the Fyran stool combine form and function in a fun way.

  • The bevelled edges of the back legs where they connect with the back is a theme that runs throughout the Anyday range.

  • The hinges between the sections of the Hajd partitions show how even technical details have their own beauty when they are made of wood.

  • The Anyday easy chair has gently undulating armrests with contours and profiles for the hand to discover.

  • The Alice range now also comes with its own adapted raisers in the same design as the range itself.
