Reuse
At Albin i Hyssna, we have the greatest respect for the environment and for people. It’s why we do everything to extend the life of our furniture for as long as possible. Having our own production in Hyssna, many years of experience, and working closely with our clients mean that we are more than happy to receive furniture we have supplied in the past that needs restoration in one way or another after a number of years of service. Contact us and we’ll tell you more!
ALBIN REPRESENTS GOAL 15 IN AGENDA 2030
Life on Land
The world and society are facing major challenges in terms of climate change, raw material provision, waste production and social development. With Agenda 2030, the UN has identified 17 sustainable development goals. Based on Agenda 2030, TMF has drawn up its own goals and vision for the industry's long-term sustainability work as an example of how Swedish wood and furniture industry works with eleven of these goals.
We at Albin i Hyssna are extremely proud to be involved in this work and represent Goal 15 – Life on Land.
What does Goal 15 entail?
The aim with Goal 15 is to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss.
Anna-Lena Knutsson, in charge of the collaboration mentioned above at Albin i Hyssna and third generation at Albin i Hyssna:
"We feel responsible for coming generations and therefore manufacture furniture that promotes ecologically sustainable development. We only use certified wood, we constantly strive to minimise wood consumption and encourage reuse, and we value sustainable forestry. By buying new furniture from us you are also buying a future."
